Who It’s For: Medical professionals in the state of Maryland who agree to work in designated health professional shortage areas or medically underserved areas for at least two years.
How to Apply: You can find all the necessary applications and requirements on the program’s website, along with a list of which medical professions qualify.
What Loans Qualify: Any loans (including federal, state, and private) that were used to pay for the relevant healthcare degree.
How Much?: Up to $50,000 per year for a two-year obligation. It is possible to apply for an additional two-year term, bring the total up to $200,000 over the course of four years.
