Who It’s For: Highly qualified federal employees, at the discretion of their employing agency.
How to Apply: Contact your federal employer to find out if you are eligible for this program. If so, you will need to agree to a service period of at least 3 years.
What Loans Qualify: Any federal student loans.
How Much?: Up to $10,000, up to a maximum of $60,000 per year.
Anything Else I Should Know?: If you’re working for a federal employer, you may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as well. Make sure you review both options carefully and determine which option(s) best suit your specific situation.
