Who It’s For: Primary health care professionals in a variety of medical, dental, and mental health professions who agree to work in a state- or federally-designated health professional shortage area for at least two years.

What Loans Qualify: Most loans (including federal, state, and private) that were used to pay for the relevant healthcare degree. Loans taken out by someone else (such as Parent PLUS loans) do not count, nor do HRSA Primary Care loans.
How Much?: Up to $50,000 for a two-year obligation, with the award amount varying by discipline.
