Who It’s For: Mental health professionals in the state of North Carolina who agree to work in a Primary Care setting in a health professional shortage area for at least two years.
How to Apply: To apply for a SLRP award, all providers must complete the SLRP Eligibility Questionnaire first to determine eligibility. Providers deemed eligible to proceed in applying for SLRP after completing the eligibility questionnaire will be sent a separate application link via email. The Questionnaire will be available on the website when the application cycle is open.
What Loans Qualify: Any loans (including federal, state, and private) that were used to pay for the relevant healthcare degree and were taken out from a qualified lending institution.
How Much?: Up to $50,000 for a 2-year service agreement.
